Murchison Falls National Park
Uganda

Murchison Falls National Park includes savanna, rivers and rainforest, and lots of widlife, including gangs of giraffe...

Personal experience

I stayed in Murchison Falls National Park for 6 days in October 2019.

Accommodation

On the edge of this park is one of the best value accommodations in a national park in Uganda, the Red Chilli Hideaway, located on the river and with a great range of birds around the grounds (and the occasional Hippo wandering in at night), and a good little restaurant.

Lots of things to do...

As well as the wildlife all around the lodge, the national park is just across the river. Along this river you can enjoy the Murchison Falls cruise. In the south is the Budongo Forest Reserve, where you can track chimpanzees.
