Good Coffee

I reckon the most important things you need when enjoying nature are good field guides, binoculars and an umbrella.

But the next most important thing is good coffee.

Australia

Cairns

In my town, the best coffee is coast roast. They are located in Cairns Central, lower floor, next to Myers, and Cairns esplanade, just opposite McDonalds.

Mossman

Great coffee is now being made at:"Raintrees of Mossman"(the cafe near the service station, just under the magnificent Raintrees at the northern entrance of town.)It is a great place to stop for a rest, coffee and food on the way up to the Daintree or Cape Trib. There is also a new cafe a few shops south, but they have shorter hours.

The Daintree Cape Tribulation area

Once over the river, choices are rather limited(especially if you need soy milk).

The best coffee is at the Daintree Discovery Centre, and no, you don't have to pay to go into the cafe!

New Zealand

Great coffee pretty much anywhere in the towns or cities.

U.S.A

Go to New Zealand.
