Udawalawa National Park
I visited this area in December 2016.
This national park is mainly known for it's elephant population.
With so many elephants, this gives one a chance to watch behaviours, and see a range of individuals from large males, to mothers, to young ones.
Other mammals include water buffalo
There are many water holes throughout the park, and this attracts a range of birds.

Thinking of doing expedition travel after everything has calmed down? I do a lot of my guiding and lecturing work on Silversea.
